Home is where you go...

Coach Weber, this one's for you. Home is where the heart is, and you can now take some time to be with those who love you best - your dear family. When changes come into our lives, expected and unexpected, we draw near to that which is most 'familiar': Home. Frost wrote, "Home is the place that when you go there, they have to take you in." They take you because they know you, but they still love you. What says home more than Apple Pie? So we toast with a concoction called, "Mom's Apple Pie a la mode". Recipe for 'Joy's Apple Pie a la mode'
2 1/2 oz Apple Schnapps
1 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
Heavy Whipped Cream
Sugar
Honey
Rim Martini glass with Honey and set aside.  Mix whipped cream with sugar, pour into glass. Pour Apple Schnapps on top of cream, let settle, then carefully pour Cinnamon Schnapps on top.
