Welcome to my weekly 'Thought Tale' hour. This is my place to stop and muse about my perspective on the things that catch my eye. Sometimes they will bring a tear, and other times a smile, but I hope they always give you a few moments to stop at the end of your busy week and find your joyous perspective on life.

A toast to tradition
On this Friday night, we are toasting to the wonderful memories and traditions we carry with us during the holiday season. We are drinking Peppermint Kahlua and Cocoa. When I was a small girl, my Gramma Costa used to have an amazing collection of a 'Christmas town' that she put out on her coffee table each year. I remember always looking forward to seeing that scene, as though it really would not be Christmas without it. Now, I have my own little town that I put up each year, and my own little grandkid to come over and gaze at it with a big smile. These are simple traditions, but they are like golden threads in the tapestry of our lives. So lift your cup of spirit and toast your special memory - CHEERS FRIENDS
