Welcome to my weekly 'Thought Tale' hour. This is my place to stop and muse about my perspective on the things that catch my eye. Sometimes they will bring a tear, and other times a smile, but I hope they always give you a few moments to stop at the end of your busy week and find your joyous perspective on life.

What is luck?
"Are you feeling lucky?" That's a line that brings up all kinds of potential replies. We 'feel' lucky if we escape harm, or if we have fortune come to us without much effort. Luck is usually precipitated by doing something which includes taking a chance - a gamble. Trump says "everything in life is luck" - but my Dad always said, "Luck always seems to be against people who depend on it." So tonight, we toast to luck, drinking green Beer, with that illusive and yet pervasive imp that we sometimes find, but often just work our way into. And the best part of gambling is when you have nothing to lose. So look around you and realize how lucky you truly are. Count your blessings, because the odds are in your favor, that you are already a very lucky soul. CHEERS FRIENDS!
